PKK EXECUTES MEMBERS IN ARMENIA, IRAN

Ankara: In the [PKK] terrorist organization, which has suffered
serious losses in the operations carried out against it, in addition
to problems experienced from the financial aspect and in recruitment
of cadres, some responsible individuals within the organization have
been executed for various reasons.

According to information obtained by the AA correspondent from
security sources, the corpses of Murat Yucel, codenamed "Yilmaz,", the
terrorist organization’s person responsible for financial affairs in
Armenia, as well as a woman codenamed "Mizgin," said to have been his
lover, have been found by shepherds in a village on the Iranian side
of the border of Armenia.

It was noted that Murat Yucel and his lover were "apprehended at the
border while fleeing with a large sum of money belonging to the
organization that had been given to them." It was reported that Murat
Yucel and the woman codenamed "Mizgin" were killed by beheading on the
order of the organizational leader codenamed "Kargo Suleyman", who did
not acknowledge their self-criticism that they "used the
organization’s money in order to be able to marry."

Two more executions

Meanwhile, yet another report of an execution has come from the
Iranian city of Orumiyeh. It is stated that Muhammet Aslan, codenamed
"Ararat," and Cemal Polat, codenamed "Ferhat," of the terrorist
organization’s people responsible for Iran, had disappeared with funds
amounting to approximately 200m tomans (300,000 dollars) that they had
collected under the name of "taxes" from villages in the Orumiyeh
region. But it was determined that Muhammet Aslan and Cemal Polat were
later killed in a firing squad by PKK terrorists and their bodies
buried in the ground.

It is stated as well that the organization members codenamed "Ridvan"
and "Nedelin," who were determined to have married the daughters of
Kurdish families living in the Salmas region of Iran, were killed
along with their wives, on the grounds that "marriage is forbidden
within the organization."

In recent months, six members of the organization had been killed in a
cave near the village of Jander, in the Salmas area of Iran, after a
decision had been made within the organization for their execution.
