QUOTATION OF SHARES OF ‘VIMPELCOM’ AT NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE GREW BY 12,77%

ArmInfo. Quotation of shares of "VimpelCom" OJSC at New York stock
exchange (NYSE) grew by 12,77%. As of the tender closing, on September
12 the cost of a common share made up US $23,14 as compared with
$20,61 on September 11.
As spokeswoman of "VimpelCom" Yekaterina Osadchaya told ArmInfo:
‘Decrease of the rate of "VimpelCom" shares should be considered in the
context of general decline of the Russian shares. It is difficult to
give any forecasts under such conditions’. As "Kommersant" reports,
on September 12, the Russian stock market started to grow for the
first time over the last week: MICE index grew by 6,03%, RTS –
by 3,36%. Moreover, the shares of "VimpelCom" went up in price by
2,3% over the last week among 15 biggest (by capitalization) Russia
companies.
