11TH ASTRONOMY COMPETITION AMONG CIS SCHOOL-CHILDREN TO TAKE PLACE IN YEREVAN ON SEPT 20-26

ArmInfo. The 11th astronomy competition among CIS school-children
will take place in Yerevan on Sept 20-26

The press service of the Education and Science Ministry reports that
this year the competition is dedicated to the 100th birthday of the
well-known Soviet astronomer, academician Viktor Hambartsumyan.

The competition will take place in the A.Shahinyan special physics
and mathematics school

Education and Science Minister S.Seyranyan, President of the National
Academy of Sciences of Armenia R.Martirossyan, Director of Byurakan
Astrophysical Observatory A.Haroutyunyan will attend the opening
ceremony.
