AZERBAIJANI PRESIDENT RECEIVED US CO-CHAR OF OSCE MINSK GROUP

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Yesterday president Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan
received Matthew Braiza, US State Department’s person in charge for
Europe & Eurasia and US co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group.
The Presidential Administration press service informs that in the
meeting the parties covered condition and prospects of relationships
between the two countries, situation in the region and other matters
of mutual interests.
After Russia prevented the attempt of force re-integration of South
Osetia and Abkhazia in Georgia, dialogue on peaceful settlement of
Nagorno Garabagh conflict that led to occupation of 20% of Azerbaijan’s
territory by Armenia has activated in the region. The dialogue is
conducted in format of OSCE MG existing for preparing a peaceful
conference on conflict issue solution and on the bilateral basis.
