TIME TO SETTLE CONFLICTS IN SOUTH CAUCASUS

US Ambassador to Azerbaijan stated that the events in Georgia proved
that it is time to settle the conflicts which exist in the region of
South Caucasus.
"US Vice-President Cheney during his visit to Azerbaijan said that it
is the best and most important chance to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict. He said that the United States advocates Azerbaijan’s
territorial integrity and that the conflict must be settled in
accordance with that principle, although, taking into account the
international experience," stated the Ambassador.
The American diplomat assured that the USA will continue taking
an active part in the peace process on Karabakh and announced that
American Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group is to arrive in Baku on
September 17.
