WAS EXTRAORDINARY SITTING THAT URGENT?

Today’s extraordinary sitting of the National Assembly lasted an
hour. Obviously, it was convened to publicise NA Speaker Tigran
Torossian’s "long-awaited" resignation.
In reply to A1+’s question whether he will no longer attend NA
sittings, Tigran Torossian said in bewilderment: "Why shouldn’t I
attend? I will participate in NA activities as a non-party MP."
Reminder, after the ex Speaker had handed in his resignation he could
no longer attend the National Assembly as an ordinary parliamentarian.
Today NA former deputy Arshak Sadoyan could be seen in the
Parliament. He turned out to have been involved in the NA ad hoc
Commission studying the March 1 occurrences.
