AZERBAIJANI, TURKISH FMS DISCUSS THE SITUATION IN THE REGION

Azerbaijani and Turkish Foreign Ministers Elmar Mammadyarov and Ali
Babajan met in New York on 21 September.

The informal meeting took place on the sidelines of the 63rd session
of the UN General Assembly, Turkey’s CIHAN news agency said.

The Ministers exchanged views on bilateral issues and discussed the
situation in the region, as well as the settlement of the Karabakh
conflict.

Azerbaijani and Armenian Foreign Ministers are expected to meet with
participation of their Turkish counterpart in New York on 25 and
26 September.
