MEETING TO BE HELD IN THE NORTHERN AVENUE

The Armenian National Congress has decided to organize the September
26 rally in the Northern Avenue, since the Mayor’s office rejected
its notice on holding the event near the Matenadaran.
Ararat Zourabyan, Head of the Administration of the Armenian
Pan-National Movement, is also going to hold a mass public event in
the Northern Avenue on the same day. His notice on organizing the
event near the Matenadaran was also rejected by the Mayor’s Office.
The Mayor’s Office suggested that the Congress hold the rally in
the neighborhood of the southern tribune of the "Hrazdan" stadium,
and Ararat Zourabyan – in the neighborhood of the "Dinamo" stadium.
"We will hold the rally, but we will do that in the Northern Avenue,"
L. Ter-Petrosyan’s spokesman Arman Mousinyan has announced.
