The Grand Armenian Festival promises a full weekend of food,

being celebrated throughout 2008.

Learn Armenian dances, and enjoy the tastes of foods, such as shish
kebabs, kufteh (Armenian meatballs) and burek (Armenian puff pastries).

Entertainment includes a Saroyan theatrical presentation by the
theater arts department at Fresno State, a performance by the San
Fernando Valley Hamazkayin Nairie Armenian Folk Dance Group, live
music and children’s programs.

The Web site gives a complete schedule of activities.
