ARMENIAN PRESIDENT TO BE AWARDED PHD AT TBILISI UNIVERSITY

Armenian President Serzh Sarkisian be awarded PhD of the Tbilisi State
University named after Ivan Javakhishvili on 1 October. Sarkisian
will meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili in the Avlabar
residence, the Georgian President’s office announced.
During his two-day visit the Armenian president will open a monument
to Sayat Nova, an Armenian poet. On 30 September Sarkisian will meet
chairman of the Georgian parliament, David Bakradze.
On 1 October the Armenian president will put a wreath at the memorial
of victims who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity
of Georgia in the Freedom square.
