Georgia, Tbilisi, 2 October / corr Trend News N.Kirtzkhalia / The
experts of international human rights organizations and Georgian,
Azerbaijani, Armenian attorneys, engaged in European Court cases, left
for Bakuriani to attend meetings to be held in Where Palace hotel from
3 to 5 October, Article 42 of the Constitution organization informed.
The meeting will be opened by the CEO of Article 42 of the
Constitution, Mari Chokheli, and representatives of Helsinki Committee
of the Netherlands, Kamala Lagate and Kirsten Khavlitchek. One of the
purposes of this forum is to discuss and estimate the human rights
situation in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. The concrete cases,
which were submitted to European Court from these countries, will be
considered at the meeting.
The meeting will be held within the framework of the Strategic
Justice at the Caucasus Project, implemented by Article 42 of
the Constitution. The International Partners of the project are
the British Iterwrights and Helsinki Committee of the Netherlands,
the regional partners are Bara (Armenia) and The Community of Fair
Education (Azerbaijan).
The project is financed by the Netherlands’ Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the GOF RE Fund of the British embassy.
