ARMENIAN ATHLETES WIN 18 MEDALS IN INTERNATIONAL KARATE-DO TOURNAMENT

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: The athletes of Armenia’s karate-do
team, headed by the chairman of the national federation Grigor
Mikayelian, won 18 medals – 11 gold, 6 silver and 2 bronze – in the
international tournament held in the U.S. town of Glendale.
In November the athletes are expected to participate in another
international tournament in Tokyo.
