According to some press reports published recently, Hrant Vardanyan,
Head of "Grand Holding" company, provided secret financial support
to L. Ter-Petrosyan’s pre-electoral campaign. To what extent does
this correspond to the reality?
In response to this question, H. Vardanyan yesterday said, "I have
worked with R. Kocharyan both as a Prime Minister and a President,
but I have never financed him; neither am I ready to finance anyone
else. I don’t need that.
I have never been dependent upon the authorities. My business is my
knowledge and my work. So, they are supposed to finance me."
