NIGERIA AMBASSADOR PRESENTS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT SARGSYAN

The newly appointed Ambassador of Nigeria to Armenia Mohammadu
M. Abubakar Cika (seat in Tehran) presented his credentials to the
President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan.
The President congratulated the diplomat on assuming office and
expressed confidence that his appointment will mark the start of the
Armenian-Nigerian relations.
Serzh Sargsyan noted that it is necessary to exchange comprehensive
information between the two countries to determine the possible
spheres of cooperation. He attached importance to the formation of
a contractual-legal field necessary for cooperation.
During the meeting the parties turned to issues of cooperation
between Armenia and Nigeria within the framework of international
organizations, especially the UN.
