YEREVAN, October 29. /ARKA/. Prices of some commodities have fallen
for the past days, according to a monitoring conducted by the RA
State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC).

Prices of essential goods have fallen, SCPEC said, citing the RA Sate
Revenue Committee’s market survey.

Petrol prices have gone down 20% both in global and local
markets. Besides, rice prices fell 80 drams (from 450 drams) in
Armenia shortly after new entities entered local markets.

Flour prices have fallen around 15 drams, SCPEC said, adding the
product is sold at about 210 drams per kilo in local flour mills.

Both in global and local prices of construction materials have
fallen 20%.

"After ten-day stability, bread prices decreased by about 20 drams,"
SCPEC said, adding the fall in bread prices does not keep in tune
with the cut in flour prices. ($1 – 306.27 drams)
