THE US SUPPORTS THE TRILATERAL MEETING EXPECTED IN MOSCOW

The US supports the initiative of Moscow to hold a trilateral meeting
between the Presidents of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia, Press
Secretary of the US Department of State Sean McCormack said Wednesday.

On November 2 the President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan
and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will
hold a meeting in Moscow with participation of the President of the
Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev.

"We have been working long towards the solution of that issue. The
OSCE Minsk Group has been functioning for many years. We hope that this
initiative will succeed. We are closely watching it," McCormack said.
