MOSCOW MEETING OF THREE PRESIDENTS WILL PROMOTE NAGORNO KARABAKH SETTLEMENT PROCESS, RA FOREIGN MINISTER SAYS

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 30, NOYAN TAPAN. Armenia attaches much importance
and welcomes the initiative of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. The
meeting of Russian, Armenian, and Azeri Presidents to be held on
November 2 in Moscow will promote the negotiations proceeding over
the Nagorno Karabakh settlement and will contribute to finding of
solutions. RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated at the October
30 press conference.
He informed journalists that before that, on October 31, a preparatory
meeting of the three countries’ Foreign Ministers will take place
in Moscow, and on November 1 they will meet with the OSCE Minsk
Group Co-chairs.
According to E. Nalbandian, the negotiations process, as it has been
repeatedly stated, proceeds within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group
and with the assistance of the group.
The Minister also reported that after Moscow RA President
Serzh Sargsyan will visit France, where he will meet with
President of France, Chairman of Senate, and other high-ranking
officials. S. Sargsyan will leave Paris for Brussels, where meetings
by both "European" and bilateral, Armenia-Belgium format will be held.
