ERNEST APRESIAN WINS POLTAVA INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT

POLTAVA, NOVEMBER 4, NOYAN TAPAN. Table Tennis Junior International
Tournament finished on November 2 in the city of Poltava, Ukraine.

Representatives of 11 countries took part in it. Two sportsmen from
Yerevan represented Armenia. Ernest Apresian successfully performed
in the initial six tours and passed to the final. In the decisive
game he beat Pavel Zaderev (Ukraine) with the score of 2 to 0, took
the first place and became the winner of the tournament.

Lusine Vardanian had 5 victories, 2 defeats and took the 4th
place. They had left for Poltava accompanied by coach Artur Poghosian.
