For one week Panorama.am has been living in Yovrishkas village,
Lithuania. Panorama.am reporter left for Lithuania to take part in an
international program on "South Caucasus a part of Europe". Note that
the program started a year ago in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan and
young people were sending photo, redio and print stories via internet
to their colleagues. The final stage of the program was organized
in Lithuania.

Local people who have been to Armenia said that their village had
many similarities with Tsaghkadzor.

Panorama.am reporter found out that life was active in the capital
city of Lithuania in Vilnius, just like in Armenia. The difference
was that youth in villages is also active. They visit the capital
city to see their friends, to do some shopping and to have fun.

The day all the participants visited Vilnius was "Halloween" day and
the city was colred with lights, youth songs and beer.

Representatives of local youth says that they lack some discos to
pass their leisure time. So comparing with Armenians youth we don’t
have such problems. Georgian representatives said that the same is in
their country. The situation in Azerbaijan is not the same, as they
don’t like when their girls walk along the streets and go to discos
in the evenings.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
