The murderer of Armenian officer Gurgen Margaryan, Azeri Ramil Safarov,
who has been sentenced by the Court of Hungary, can be extradited to
Azerbaijan but Hungary did not take such responsibilities to arrange
his extradition, announced the Foreign Minister of Hungary Kinga
Göncz in a meeting with the journalists in Yerevan.

"That was a shock for Budapest. We hoped that friendly relationship
would be established among the officers collected from all over the
world," said the Minister. "One thing is important, will Safarov be
life imprisoned in Azerbaijan or not?" mentioned Kinga Göncz.

Remind that on 19 February 2004, Azeri Ramil Safarov murdered Armenia
military officer Gurgen Margaryan. Safarov is sentenced to life
imprisonment by the Court of Hungary.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
