ARMENIA TO RECEIVE 13.6 MILLION DOLLARS

The executive council of the International Monetary Fund confirmed a
three-year 9.2 million SDR (nearly 13.6 million U.S. dollars) loan to
Armenia in the framework of the Poverty Reduction and Economic Growth
program to support the government’s economic plan leading up to 2011.

With that decision, Armenia will have the opportunity to receive
1.31 million SDR (nearly 1.9 million dollars) from the International
Monetary Fund.
