JOURNALIST BEATEN UP IN YEREVAN

Police are searching for assailants, who attacked journalist Edik
Bagdasarian, the 46 year-old chairman of the Journalists Investigating
public organization, in the center of Yerevan on Monday.

Bagdasarian sustained serious skull injuries and was hospitalized,
the Armenian police informed Interfax.

The three assailants fled.

Police are investigating.
