ARMENIA WON WORLD CHESS OLYMPIAD IN DRESDEN

YEREVAN, 26.11.08. DE FACTO. Armenian men’s team has become the winner
of the 38th World Chess Olympiad held in Dresden, Germany.

During the sets of Armenia-China final, 11th tournament Levon Aronian,
Vladimir Hakobian and Gabriel Sargsian played in a draw, while Tigran
Petrosian won the Chinese Chess player.

To note, Armenian team is the acting Olympic champion: in 2006
Armenia’s team won Chess Olympiad in Turin.
