A magical night of classical music will be brought to Bahrain next
Wednesday by Alliance Francaise de Bahrein and Life in Music.

Acclaimed pianist Olga Oust, who founded Life in Music schools in
Paris and Bahrain, will perform at the event, called Allure.

She will be accompanied by acclaimed violinist Angela Amirian.

Olga, from Belarus, began her studies with Tatiana Volovko at the
National Musical Lycurn in Minsk.

In 1997, she received her Superior Performance Diploma from the
Belarusian National Academy of Music.

She then studied with Anne-Marie De Lavellion Verdier at the National
Superior Conservatory at Saint-Maur, France, before landing the
position of Assistant Professor at the Conservatory.

In 1999, she won an international competition to study with Maitre
Eugene

Moguilevsy at the Royal Conservatoire of Music of Brussels, in Belgium,
going on to complete her Master’s Degree with distinction in 2003.

In 2005, she received the title of Professor of Piano Playing in
France.

Later that year she won the Concerto Completion in Bowling Green
State University, US.

Olga has performed solo and chamber music extensively in many
countries, including Paris, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Marseille, Bergerac
(France), Brussels (Belgium), Edinburgh (Scotland), Bergen (Norway)
and the US.

She is the recipient of several international awards and obtained first
prize and a gold medal in 1999 at an international festival in France.

In 2004, Olga founded a special music school in Paris called La Vie en
Musique – or Life in Music.Since January 2006, she has been working
towards establishing the same project in Bahrain, which officially
opened in Sanad last year.

Angela started her musical education in the Tchaikovsky School.

In 1995 she participated in the first National Armenian Competition
Debute and was awarded with a special prize.

In 2000, Angela participated in Levon Chilingirian National Competition
and earned accolades from the jury – as a result being invited to
attend Masters Classes at the AcadŽmie Internationale de Musique de
Courchevel, France.

On her return she joined the National Chamber Orchestra of Armenia
under conductor Aram Gharabekian as first violinist.

Angela has performed solo and chamber music in Armenia, Switzerland,
Germany, France, Greece, Cyprus, Canada, the US, Russia, Ukraine,
the UAE, Lebanon, Georgia, Bahrain, Dubai and Sharjah.

The piano and violin concert will begin at 7.30pm at Alliance
Francaise, in Isa Town. Tickets are priced at BD10 and booking is
mandatory.
