In these pre-Christmas days the officers of Ministry of Agriculture
of Armenia will hold raids in food markets, said Grisha Baghyan of
the Ministry of Agriculture to Panorama.am.
According to the experts in these days the risk of purchasing home
made unlicensed food is high enough. This type of food is not safe
for the customers’ health.
The delicious and most popular dish that Armenians like to prepare
especially for the New Year holiday is ham of pork which is imported
from Brazil and Canada. Alexander Alexanyan of the Ministry of
Agriculture said to Panorama.am that local cattle-breeding firms also
purchase ham of pork.
