ARMENIAN MARKETING ASSOCIATION: 47% OF ARMENIANS EXPECT ECONOMIC CRISIS TO AFFECT COUNTRY

YEREVAN, December 27. /ARKA/. According to the survey conducted by
the Armenian Marketing Association (AMA), 47% of respondents believe
the crisis will affect the country’s economy and 22% of them think
it has already done so.
The survey was carried out from November 25 to December 3 by AMA
which is a member of Eurasian Monitor International Research Agency
in Armenia. 1,067 citizens participated to the survey in Armenia.
The survey showed the 90% of Armenia’s population know about the
global economic crisis, the other 10% have never heard about it. 18%
believe the crisis will affect Armenia partially and only 9% think
it will not tell on Armenian economy at all.
According to press-release received by ARKA News Agency, 43% of
respondents answered in the affirmative to the question whether the
crisis will tell on their families. 13% said it has already affected
their families, 22% think the influence will be partial and 19%
are sure their families will not suffer at all.
A more comprehensive analysis of other researches will be provided
next January, and will also contain the results of analogue researches
in other CIS countries.
