ARMENIA TO CONTINUE ITS EFFORTS IN DIRECTION OF COORDINATING JOINT WORK IN CSTO

YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. Issues regarding preparation of
CSTO’s regular summit and formation of its agenda were discussed at
the January 13 meeting of Serzh Sargsyan, President of the country
currently presiding over in CSTO and CSTO Secretary General Nikolay
Bordyuzha.

According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by RA President’s
Press Office, S. Sargsyan attached importance to constant perfection
of CSTO’s activity and said that it will enable to more efficiently
resist the current challenges. According to him, the unofficial
meeting of CSTO member states’ leaders held last year in Kazakhstan
pursued the very purpose.

Considering military-political cooperation the pivotal direction of
CSTO activity, S. Sargsyan said that Armenia will continue its efforts
in the direction of coordinating the joint work, more completely and
efficiently using the cooperation potential.
