SERZH SARGSYAN CONSIDERS PRIMARY STRENGTHENING OF ARMENIA’S DEFENSIVE ABILITY

On January 10, RA President Serzh Sargsyan held a working consultation
at the RA Defence Ministry with the participation of Ministry’s
leading staff, during which Ministry’s main tasks of 2009 and tasks
proceeding from them were discussed.
S. Sargsyan said that army building is a long-lasting, hard work
and requires everyday painstaking work. He considered primary the
consistent steps in the direction of strengthening country’s defensive
ability considering constant perfection and development of armed
forces as a guarantee of having a strong and efficient army.
According to the report provided to Noyan Tapan by the RA President’s
Press Office, then S. Sargsyan took part in the presentation of the
film dedicated to twice hero of USSR Nelson Stepanian, which has been
shot on the basis of publicist Zori Balayan’s documentary novelette
under the title "Wings."
