Marc Nichanian is an independent scholar and author of La Perversion
historiographique: une réflexion arménienne (2006) forthcoming in
English translation and with an afterword by Gil Anidjar (Columbia
University Press), Writers of Disaster: The National Revolution (2002)
and Le Deuil de la philologie (2007).

Gil Anidjar is Associate Professor in the Departments of Religion and
Middle East and Asian Languages and Cultures and author of Semites:
Race, Religion, Literature (2008), The Jew, the Arab: A History of the
Enemy (2003), and ?Our Place in al-Andalus:? Kabbalah, Philosophy,
Literature in Arab Jewish Letters (2002).
