RA NAS NEWLY ELECTED FOREIGN MEMBERS TO TAKE PART IN ACADEMY’S GENERAL ANNUAL MEETING

YEREVAN, JANUARY 14, NOYAN TAPAN. The newly elected foreign members
of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia have been officially
invited to take part in the RA NAS 2009 general annual meeting. The
issues of holding the meeting and Diasporan Armenian scientists’
participation were discussed at RA NAS presidium’s sitting on January
14 with the participation of RA Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobian.

According to RA NAS Press Service, NAS general annual meeting with take
place on April 21-23, during which Diasporan Armenian scientists will
make scientific reports. It is also envisaged discussing directions
of NAS and Diasporan Armenian scientists’ cooperation. Diasporan
Armenian scientists will give lectures at universities.
