REPRESENTATIVES OF SUNNI AND SHI’TE CLERGY ASSOCIATION
VISIT HIS HOLINESS ARAM I

On Wednesday 14 January 2009 in the morning representatives of the Sunni and
Shi’ite Clergy Association visited His Holiness Aram I. They informed His
Holiness of the statement they are preparing to address the violence and
bloodshed in Gaza from a Lebanese perspective. His Holiness encouraged this
initiative proposing that the representatives of the clergy of both
Christian and Muslim communities be part of this initiative.
