7 Overseas Financial Centers Planned
Seven new financial centers are to be established abroad, said head of
Iran’s Trade Development Organization.
Mehdi Ghazanfari told Fars News Agency that financial centers of
Baghdad, Arbil, Karbala and Basra would be jointly established by
Iran’s Chamber of Cooperatives, Iran’s Chamber of Commerce, Industries

Also, ICCIMICCIMIran Chamber of Commerce Industries and Mines ICCIM
has paid five billion rials for purchasing the land to establish a
financial center in Khartoum, he said.
Ghazanfari said the Export Promotion Fund for Textiles would establish
a financial center in Dushanbe. Commerce Minister Masoud Mir Kazemi
would take part in the project’s ground-breaking ceremony in February.
The Export Promotion Fund for Aquatics is involved in construction of
a financial center in Yerevan, showing a physical progress of 75
percent, he concluded.
