Two Armenian Figure Skaters Take Part In European Championship

TWO ARMENIAN FIGURE SKATERS TAKE PART IN EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, NOYAN TAPAN. Regular European Figure Skating
Championship started on January 19 in the capital city of Finland
Helsinki.

As Noyan Tapan correspondent was informed by Samvel Khachatrian, the
Chairman of the Figure Skating Republican Federation, solo skaters
Gegham Vardanian and Ani Vardanian will perform in the Championship
from Armenia.

They held a month’s teaching and training gathering in Riga with
the assistance of the Armenian National Olympic Committee, headed
by coach Armen Asoyan. G. Vardanian will perform on January 21 and
A. Vardanian on January 23.
