BAILIFF ON "BJNI" FACTORY CASE ATTACKED IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, January 23. /ARKA/. Bailiff Hayk Babajanyan who inspects
Bjni mineral water factory in Armenia was attacked in Hrazdan town
in his foreyard with a stab-and-cut wound inflicted on him.
According to the police press service, 28-year old Hayk Babajanyan
was hospitalized at 9am on January 21.
Criminal proceedings was instituted in the investigation department of
Kotayk regional police (Article 316, violence against public agent),
says the report.
Armenia’s Bailiff Service reports that the attack may me directly
connected with the professional activity of senior bailiff of the
regional bailiff service Hayk Babajanyan.
In connection with the incident, the Bailiff Service stated that
it will continue carrying out its functions under the law and
demonstrating principle approach to all economic entities irrespective
of the amount and persons of certain proceedings.
"Bjni" mineral water factory belongs to "Sil" concern owned by
Sukiasyan family. One of the members of the family parliamentarian
Khachatur Sukiasyan is wanted after the events of March 1-2 in Yerevan.
The police are taking active investigative measures to detect the
crime.
