RUSSIA TO REJECT BELARUS: AND ARMENIA?
Belarus asked Russia to dispose a loan of 100 billion rubles, but it
was rejected, reports interfax. According to the source, Russia
offered to make the trade between the countries in Russian rubles.
Note that the Minister of Finance of Russian Federation Aleksey Kudrin
announced that Armenia has also asked to provide loan. At the same
time the Russian official rejected to speak about the details of the
conditions. The President of Central Bank of Armenia Arthur Javadyan
has also confirmed the information.
In order to overcome the impact of the world financial-economic crisis
Armenia asked 1 billion USD from Russia, World Bank, Asian Bank of
Development and European Bank of Reconstruction and Development,
reports Russian Interfax referring to a source from the Government of
Armenia.
