Russian Natural Gas Transit to Armenia via Georgia Halted

Russian natural gas transit to Armenia via Georgia has been halted.
Interpress News was reported regarding this from Georgian Gas and Oil
Corporation. The station of gas pipelines located in Gveleti has been
damaged and that’s the reason for suspension. As a result Russian gas
transit to Armenia has been suspended .
As the company reports the rehabilitation works are being carried out
though it is unknown when the gas supply will be resumed.
As for Georgian population they will uninterupedly receive gas as
Georgia is totally supplied with gas from Azerbaijan.
