There will not be any significant changes in the resolution of the
Karabakh conflict during the expected meeting of the Presidents
of Armenia and Azerbaijan in Davos, said expert of the Center of
National-Strategic Studies Manwell Sargsyan.
The political scientist noted that the West intends to put pressure
on Armenia, making use of its problems in PACE, but the situation
around Karabakh conflict, does not allow to hope for serious changes.
"Most people expect signing an important document by the presidents
of Armenia and Azerbaijan but nothing important can occur in the near
future", noted he.
"The OSCE MG co-chairing country have no single opinion on the
resolution of the conflict and the relations of powers and society in
both countries are not unambiguous. One can wish to solve a conflict
but have no opportunities for that", explained the expert.
