AZERBAIJANI CITIZENS RATE AUTHORITIES’ FOREIGN POLICY AS MORAL

Attitudes, acting at the University of Maryland published a poll
on the morality of foreign policy. The survey was conducted in 24
countries around the world, including Azerbaijan, Turkey and Russia.

Azerbaijan is in three states whose residents appreciate the foreign
policy of its leadership as a moral: 39% of respondents – higher
than the average, 42% as average and only 12% – below the national
average. In the first place in the ranking was Jordan (44%), while
the second – India (40%). In Turkey, moral consider policies of their
country 28% of the population, and in Russia – 27%. The lowest approval
meets its own guidelines in Argentina (4%) and Ukraine (8%).

At the same time, the residents of Azerbaijan are the most negatively
to the foreign policy actions of Russia – only 4% think their moral
and 45% – immoral. Negative attitudes to the people of Azerbaijan
and the U.S. (12% vs. 32%) and France (16% vs. 30%). Politics is the
UK in Azerbaijan is considered to be far more moral: 29% appreciated
her and 19% negative.
