FINANCE MINISTER OF ARMENIA MEETS WITH WORLD BANK DELEGATION

YEREVAN, JANUARY 26, NOYAN TAPAN. The minister of finance of the RA
Tigran Davtian on January 26 met with the delegation of the World
Bank. The delegation was headed by the WB Vice President Shigeo Katsu
and composed of the WB Regional Director for South Caucasus Donna
Dowsett Coirolo, the WB Yerevan Office Director Aristomene Varudakis
and the newly-appointed Regional Director Asad Alam.

NT was informed by the Information and PR Department of the RA Finance
Ministry that during the meeting the sides discussed the programs
to be implemented and resources to be provided in the next four
years under the World Bank’s Country Partnership Strategy. They also
addressed the macroeconomic situation in Armenia, problems related
to the global financial and economic crisis and other issues.
