recently been recorded in the relations between Turkey and Armenia. The
newspaper also refers to Armenian FM Edward Nalbandyan that "we are
close to the improvement of relations".

The author of the article reminds that Turkish Foreign Minister
Ali Babacan said in his recent interview: "I can state that we with
Armenia have never been so close to the improvement of relations".

One of the Turkish diplomats, whose name is not specified, told
reporters that unlike the previous one, this meeting of officials of
the two countries will not be a surprise, as they had communicated
before.

He added that currently Turkey is not planning to make any big step
in its relations with Armenia. He also noted that the progress in
the resolution of the Karabakh conflict will have a positive impact
on the improvement of Turkish-Armenian relations and vise versa.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
