WB DELEGATION ARRIVES IN YEREVAN TO DISCUSS FOUR-YEAR COOPERATION

YEREVAN, January 27. /ARKA/. The World Bank’s delegation has arrived
in Yerevan to discuss the four-year cooperation program.

WB Deputy President in Europe and Central Asia Shiego Katsu, newly
appointed WB Director for the South Caucasus Asad Alam and ex-WB
Regional Director Donna Dowsett-Coirolo were among the delegation
members.

The WB representatives plan to meet with Armenia’s top officials
and businessmen. The focus of the discussions will be the WB-Armenia
four-year cooperation program.

On January 28, the delegation will visit Lori to see how community
projects making part of the Third WB Program of Social Investments
Fund are being implemented in the region.

Afterwards, the WB delegation plans to leave for Georgia.

WB has allotted $1.1bln for 50 various programs in Armenia since
1992.
