"I respect all nations, as well as Turkic-speaking peoples. I have
always respected and will respect the Azerbaijani people. I know a
lot of famous representatives of this nation, I have always respected
Heydar Aliyev, I respect President Ilham Aliyev. Respectable Soyun
Gasimovich, I know you personally, I met with the representatives of
Azerbaijani Diaspora in Russia several times, participated in their
events. I did not want to insult honor and dignity of any nation
while publishing my book "The Last Thrust to the South"," he said.

The lawyer said taking into the letter AzerRos Council decided to
reconcile.

"We have prepared a peace agreement and presented it to Meshanski court
of Moscow today. We said that the respondent had apologized, the book
had been removed from the website of Russian Liberal Democrat Party,
the title of the book had also been removed from the list of the books
written by Zhirinovsky. That’s why we asked the court to confirm the
"peace agreement" and pass a decision," he said.

There are expressions insulting Azerbaijani state and Azerbaijanis in
the book "The Last Thrust to the South" by Zhirinovsky. Azerbaijani
people are accused of pursuing genocide policy against Armenians.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
