S. SARGSYAN SAYS ARMENIAN POSITION IS CLEAR AND UNEQUIVOCAL: WE MUST REACH THE INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION OF THE RIGHT OF NAGORNO KARABAKH PEOPLE TO SELF DETERMINATION

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 2, ARMENPRESS: "The position of Armenia is clear
and unequivocal: we must reach the international recognition of the
right of Nagorno Karabakh people to self determination", during the
meeting with the representatives of Swiss Armenian community the
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said referring to his January 28
meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in Zurich.
"We continued negotiations over Karabakh conflict regulation. In
this respect the Armenian position is clear and unequivocal: we must
reach the international recognition of the right of Nagorno Karabakh
people to self determination. You can be sure in this we put no other
task in front of us. And the myths that out of certain aims or being
unable to stand pressures we can make one-sided concessions in Karabakh
issue do not correspond to reality. We cannot yield our national aim,
the general issue, for solution of certain secondary problems", –
Armenian president said.
