DEPUTY CHIEF OF ARMENIAN POLICE, PRESIDENT’S FORMER ADVISOR KILLED

Yerevan – APA. Deputy chief of police of Armenia Gevork Mherian was
killed. APA reports that he was shot dead outside his house in the
Kievyan street.
Investigation is being carried out on the site. Russian media reports
quoting the witnesses that Mherian was killed by a hired killer.
Gevork Mherian was appointed deputy chief of Armenian police under
the order of Serzh Sarkisian in July last year. Before, he had been
Armenian president’s advisor.
