AZERBAIJAN RETURNS BODY OF ARMENIAN MILITARY

Aghdam. Teymur Zahidoglu -APA. Azerbaijan returned body of Armenian
military on Friday.
Representatives of the International Committee of Red Cross
participated in the process of returning the body of Bad Tadevosyan,
an Armenian militiaman, killed while crossing the line of contacts
between the troops to seize one of the posts of Azerbaijani Army on
January 26, 2009, APA Karabakh bureau reports. Press service of the
Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan confirmed the fact to APA.
Units of Armenian armed forces started to move forward from the
direction of Javahirli Village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam Region at about
19.00 on January 26 to seize one of the posts of Azerbaijani Army and
to strengthen their position. Azerbaijani Army prevented the enemy’s
attempt. Three Armenian soldiers were killed and several wounded in
one-hour battle and after that the enemy retreated. One of the killed
Armenians, Bad Tadevosyan’s body was taken by the Azerbaijani soldiers
and two others were taken away by the Armenians.
