Amendments to Articles 225 and 300, RA Criminal Code to be ready in
short time
YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 6, NOYAN TAPAN. The working group preparing the
amendment to Articles 225 and 300, RA Criminal Code envisages
completing the work in 20-25 days. Naira Zohrabian, working group
member from the Bargavach Hayastan (Prosperous Armenia) party, reported
at the February 6 press briefing that at the first sitting held the day
before it was decided that at the next sitting all group members will
present their variants of amendments. According to the deputy, if the
group continues working at such a pace, the amendments will be ready
earlier than the envisaged term.
According to N. Zohrabian, the possibilities of convicting people for
their political views should be excluded in the law.
