NA SPEAKER HOVIK ABRAHAMIAN ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF ASUE COUNCIL

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, NOYAN TAPAN. The speaker of the RA National
Assembly Hovik Abrahamian was unanimously elected chairman of the
Council of Armenian State University of Economics (ASUE) as a result
of the secret vote held at the February 6 sitting of the ASUE Council.

Then the Council discussed the results of the educational, scientific,
and financial-economic activities of the university in 2008, the
execution of last year’s budget, the main indices of the 2009 draft
budget, and the changes to the regulations of the ASUE.

As NT was informed by the National Assembly PR Deparment, following
the sitting H. Abrahamian toured the newly-built subsidiary building
of the university.
