In many cases assassinations of persons from the Caucasus region
in Russia is taking place on domestic altercations or during the
criminal killings. This was announced by Nikolay Pavlov, the Russian
ambassador to Armenia on February, 5, while commenting recently
accelerated assassination cases of persons from the Caucasus region
in Russia. As reports a REGNUM correspondent, high ranking diplomat
expressed regret, that similar cases really took place.

"Unfortunately, there is a problem of xenophobia and russophobia
in Russia. And I am sad commenting the facts of hate crimes", —
stressed he, underlining that law enforcement authorities of Russia
are conducting certain work in this direction. "These cases are
under control and special attention of Prosecutor’s General Office
", -said the ambassador.
