ANKARA, FEBRUARY 12, NOYAN TAPAN. The Nagorno Karabakh settlement is a
subject that interests Turkey, but the rumors that Turkey is involved
in the problem settlement plan do not correspond to reality. According
to the Anadolu agency, Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Burak
Ozugergin stated this adding that they learn information about the
problem from the sides.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesperson said that Ankara assists
the problem settlement, as its solution will have a positive impact
on both Armenia-Azerbaijan and Turkey-Armenia relations.

It should be mentioned that on February 11 the Hurriyet Turkish
daily spread information, according to which an agreement on conflict
settlement was reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan with Turkey’s
mediation.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
