WOLVES KEEPING THE RESIDENTS OF KAPAN NEW ASTGHABERD VILLAGE IN HORROR

KAPAN, FEBRUARY 20, ARMENPRESS: From November 2008 by now nearly 35
domestic animals have became share for wolves in the New Astghaberd
community of Kapan region.
Head of the village Surik Tevanian told Armenpress that at night they
enter the village with packs and keep the villagers in horror. With
an aim to provide security of people the head of the village decided
to install night lightening in the village.
The Tetev branch of "ArmElnet" company supports them in this issue
which has already provided cable. The Syunik regional nature protection
inspection also supports the New Astghaberd community in the fight
against the wolves and from time to time organizes wolf hunting
together with workers of hunters’ union and police, though these
works by now had no results in New Astghaberd.
